This was a music visualization project that I had done while attending Purdue during my junior year. The video was entered into student competitions but was declined due to its political overtone.

Many more stills were used in the piece. What you are seeing here is the stills as they are currently displayed in my studio. Due to this, the lyrics for the actual song will appear out of order.

In the spirit of films such as "Last House on the Left" and "Day of the Woman" aka "I Spit on Your Grave", "El Perdido" follows the storyline of most rape revenge horror films.

A woman awakens on an island. She has no clue how she has gotten there, nor does she remember her own name. The little that she does know is that she does not have any natural instinct for being alone in the woods, or for being by herself.

The first of the horrors that she encounters is an all female coven of vampires. Unable to defend herself, Lost flees further into the woods, takes another fall, and is found unconscious by a coupled of farm hands who try to take advantage of her and fortunately fail.

Too bad her somewhat good luck is about to run out.

The farmhands return the new find, to their cabin headed by the cruel and savage, drug lord, Craven. Craven sees everything and anyone as his possessions to do with what he wants and unfortunately for Lost, she is his new plaything. After countless incidents of brutalization, Lost is able to flee the cabin, only to end up in the arms of a vampires embrace.

The coven that she so feared before gives her the strength and will to take her revenge upon Craven and his workers and to finally find peace for herself.

Stills from the 2006 installment of the Chicago Horror Film Festival that was held at the Portage Theater October 6th-8th.

Highlights included: guests Eric Forsberg (Snakes on a Train,Alien Abduction, Night of Lebon Tod), Syn Devil (The Tenement, Dark Places, The 8th Plague), J. Michael Whalen (The 8th Plague), Ricardo Islas (Night Fangs,Lockout), Arun Vaidyanathan (The Séance), Pearls Mahone (Fangoria), and Ron Fitzgerald (Magnus, National Vampire, The Thirsting) with his his Fitzgerald's Realm of Magic.

CHFF, for the first time, also brought in bands to play Friday and Sunday night.

Friday Night's performance featured the Misfits Tribute band, "Devilocks". Sunday, the festival kicked off with the ninjas of rock and roll, "The Wanders" and Sunday night, a Dark Star Record band "Drake" played along with their horroresque Gothic Model Theater Stage Show.

This also marked the first CHFF held at the Portage Theater, an event that will not just be limited to this year, but to many years to come.

SYNOPISIS OF "HAG" PLOT: HAG is the story of Linda Ivans. Linda became a Sea Hag in the late 1700s to seek revenge on her sailor/husband who abandoned her to "walk the waters of the world." Selling her soul to the Devil, the Hag must bathe in the blood of her female victims to remain young and drain the souls from sailors to stay alive. Living on the shores of Lake Michigan, she has wreaked havoc on the sailors who navigate the Great Lakes. When her neighbor, Mark Morgan, begins to interfere with her lifestyle, the HAG uses her mystic powers to destroy Mark Morgan and his friends.

As Alex becomes more involved in Alison's life, the comfortable and familiar world of his carefree youth quickly fades away. Engaged in a struggle with a world that offers them no pity or redemption, the only thing between them and a happy, normal life together is everything.

This is a character driven story, with expectations very high for the quality of work that we will all accomplish.
